Watzke Requests Dortmund Players Responsible
Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans Joachim Watzke has asked the players in his squad to take responsibility for the crisis experienced by the club.
This season, Dortmund has problems with performance inconsistencies. It made them sack Peter Bosz from the position of head coach of the club and replace the man from Holland with former Cologne coach Peter Stoger.
Stoger managed to bring Dortmund embrace victory in the game against Mainz, and Watzke admitted confused with the situation experienced by BVB.
“My team knows that they are responsible for the crisis,” the German told reporters. “I say that to the players in the presentation by Peter Stoger.”
“I get the impression that the players have realized it, and this situation will not continue.”
“They should be able to work together constructively, and that’s what we’ll do.”
“So far, our season has really been a mystery. But let’s just behave as if no big mistakes happen. “
